About the role
The Experiences in Research (EinR) internship program is designed for high school students in Northern California who are interested in developing their skills and gaining hands-on experience in STEM fields. The program offers paid internships lasting six weeks during the summer, where interns work on cutting-edge projects with professionals at Berkeley Lab. The projects cover various aspects of STEM professions, such as administration, data science, experimental research, and more. Students will be able to express their interests and project preferences during the application process to develop skills in their preferred field. The program is only open to current 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students with experience in independent work. Interns will work approximately 20 hours a week and will receive a stipend. Applications typically open in early February and close in early April.
