About the role
The NASA Internships provided by the Michigan Space Grant Consortium offer hands-on opportunities for high school, undergraduates, graduates, and educators to gain unique NASA-related research and operational experiences. Participants can engage in scientific or engineering research, development, and operations activities or explore non-technical internship opportunities to engage in professional activities that support NASA's business and administrative processes. The internships are mentor-directed with an aim for degree-related, real-time completions to enhance and increase participants' professional capabilities and clarify their long-term career goals. The internships can be conducted full or part-time at any NASA facility, contractor facility, or anywhere activities are ongoing to advance NASA's missions. Mentors consist of civil servants, contractors, or faculty who conduct activities directly related to NASA's unique assets and ongoing mission activities. Participants can apply for the four sessions per year corresponding to the academic calendar: spring, summer, fall, and year-long.
