About the role
Artists For Humanity is a nonprofit organization based in Boston that offers artistic job opportunities to teens. They work with mentors to create solutions that meet clients' needs in a variety of creative studios such as painting, 3D design, graphic design, printmaking, creative technology, video production, and photography. Teens pursuing community service and those who are passionate about creativity and learning are welcome to apply regardless of whether they have artistic experience or not. In order to be considered for a job, teens must attend regularly a Boston Public School or be a resident of Boston and be at least 14 years old. They must also attend the program's regular hours every week and complete an unpaid apprenticeship period to become a paid employee. Artists For Humanity offers Open House tours to interested teens to describe what they do and meet the team.
