About the role
The Accounting and Information Management (AIM) Academy is a summer program designed specifically for high school rising juniors who are underrepresented in the fields of accounting and information management. The program lasts for six days and provides workshops in various areas such as accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, and professional development. These classes will be taught by university faculty and staff, which will provide students with an opportunity to engage with professionals in the field of business. AIM Academy also includes team building sessions and college readiness workshops, aimed at connecting students with each other while preparing them for college. In short, the program provides a comprehensive and immersive learning experience that equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in their future business careers.
