Pre-Med Summer Scholar Program

The Pre-Med Summer Scholar Program is an educational program offered by Volunteer Services at UCLA Health. The program is designed for US citizen high school students who are at least 16 years old and not attending college yet, with the goal of exposing them to a variety of medical professions and helping them make a more informed decision about their path to medicine. The program includes medical guest speakers and hands-on activities that provide participants with an involved sense of working in the field of medicine. Housing accommodations are not included. The program fee is $1200, and scholarships are available based on need. The application deadline is March 30, 2023, and successful candidates will be notified by April 17, 2023.
