About the role
The Vocational Internship Program (VIP) offered by Massachusetts Clean Energy Center places vocational high school students in paid clean energy internships during the academic year. They also get the opportunity to make connections and network with clean energy professionals, which can enhance their potential for future employment. The program lasts the duration of the school year, and students can start their internship after the session start date if this is agreed upon with their Co-Op Coordinator and the Clean Energy Employer. To be eligible, students must be a rising senior who is actively attending a vocational or technical high school located in Massachusetts and is approved to participate in a co-op by their school's administration.
